The San Jose Sharks uniforms have changed from when the team first started. From 1991-1998 they wore the teal jerseys with a fin on the shoulders and gray, black, and white stripes on the sleeves and the bottom of the jerseys. The Sharks logo was in the middle. Teal socks were worn for away games. For home games the team wore white jerseys with a fin on the shoulder, teal, black, and gray, stripes on the sleeves and the bottom of the jerseys, and white socks. From 1998-2007 the teal jerseys were still the away jerseys, with black and grey on the sleeves, black and grey on the bottom of the jersey, the Sharks logo in the middle of the jersey, and teal, black, grey, and white socks. For the home games they had white jerseys with teal and grey on the sleeves and the bottom of the jersey, and the sharks logo in the middle of the jersey, and they wore white and teal socks. The third jersey was all black and was debuted on Oct. 27, 2001. These were worn for home and away games, and had the round fin on the shoulders and white and teal stripes on the sleeves and all black socks. From 2007- 2013 the teal jersey was still the home jersey and it had a white, orange, black, orange, white stripe sequence on the sleeves and the bottom of the jersey,and the Sharks logo on the shoulder. The log was also in the middle with the name and the number on the back. The white jersey was the away jersey, which had a black, orange, teal, orange, black stripe sequence on the sleeves and the bottom of the jersey. Like the home jerseys, it hds the Sharks logo in the middle and on the shoulder and had their name and number on the back of the jersey. From 2013-present the teal jersey is still the home jersey and has orange, black and white stripes on the sleeves, with their number on their sleeves and black with their name. The away jersey is the same as the teal but just white. The San Jose Sharks stadium is called the Sap Center and has the capacity of 17,500 people and was opened on September 7, 1993. | |
